Yee: Tax Reform Would Increase Revenues, Stability

Sacramento, CA – The state’s chief fiscal officer, Betty T. Yee, says that tax reform is desperately necessary in order to increase revenues and budget stability. Yee, the California State Controller, notes that Prop 13 has diminished revenues from property, sales and commercial tax and that local governments need more tax revenues for invaluable services. Yee’s thoughts can be found at the California State Association of Counties website.
